Beginning Sunday, May 17th we will begin offering services in our church building. We will be following the Virginia guidelines. This means we will allow 50% of our occupancy and provide hand sanitizer. We will not have kids church but instead will have family church where the kids are welcome in service to sit with their families. We will provide activity packets to help keep the kids engaged in the message. If you have any questions don't hesitate to reach out to us on at
We will also continue to use technology to ensure that we are connected. We believe God created us to be in relationship with one another - stay in touch, let us know what you need and how we can help you.

Helping Our Community
We are partnering with the local hospitals, hotels and food distribution centers to provide needed assistance during this time.
Nurses and Doctors - At both Sentara and Riverside Doctors Hospital they need masks, details on how to make them are here. They can also use some encouragement, cards, snacks and other gift ideas are appreciated. Please go through the church to have these delivered as we have to coordinate with someone in the building.
Grove Christian Outreach - they need pantry staple items, canned goods, pasta etc. If you can provide they will even come to your home to pick up. For more information on needs visit them at
Local hotels for the precariously housed - we are working to bring food to those living at the Pineapple Inn and other hotels in town as well as help them financially. It costs about $250 to provide a room for someone up for a week. If you would like to partner financially you can designate funds online.
